Joystick Mapper is an application for Mac OS X that lets you map keyboard keys, mouse axes, mouse buttons and mouse wheel to any mac compatible joystick or gamepad button/axis/hat. In other words: This App will let you play any game or use any app with any mac compatible joystick or gamepad, even the ones that are not compatible with joysticks. X-Mouse Button Control. X-Mouse Button Control is probably the most known about mouse button customization tool on the internet. It’s free, has a portable version and does not have any limitations to its functionality. You can add specific applications to be monitored by X-Mouse Button Control as well as opened processes and open windows. Mapping F8 to the scroll wheel button leaves you with no useful middle click, if you use terminal or any X11 programs, or Blender then you're in trouble:) I really wanted to use option+tab as I had in Virtuedesktops, but that's not possible. And the 4th button on my mouse is already mapped to F9. I ended up with control+right-click mapped to F8. Karabiner(formerly known as KeyRemap4MacBook) does exactly that.It allows you to remap the right Command button to a left click: The same is possible for the right option key too. It worked for me on a 2011 MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard—couldn't test it on a 'normal' Mac, but it should work regardless of that.

Mappings
I play games with a Playstation 3 controller, so these will be useless if you have a different controller. These are the mappings I use for games I like. To use them, just save them and double-click on them in Finder, or use ⌘O in Enjoyable to import them.
